Holmes Shoes was founded in 1887 in Moline, Illinois. A family owned business since then,
Holmes Shoes has provided Customer Service, Choice, Convenience and Expertise to
footwear buyers. By definition, Holmes Shoes is a small business with just over 40 employees
and Seven walk in locations. We feel this gives us an advantage to service the customer.
Since its inception in 1998, our Industrial Truck business has taken off. We believe the strength
of the brands we carry, such as Red Wing, Wolverine, Carolina, Doc Martens, Skechers, John
Deere, Harley Davidson, Florsheim, Converse, Work One, Nautilus and many more, appeal to
most people. Within these brands are a wide choice of Steel Toes, Metguards, Internal
Metguards, ESD, EH Rated, Composite Toes and many new innovations for comfort made for
both men and women.
